Based in Atlanta, Shannon brings more than 30 years of professional experience as an executive financial leader with a passion for serving middle market private companies.
Her career includes 12 years at The Coca-Cola Company in positions of increasing responsibility and scope, progressing from headquarter accountant to financial services manager for global procurement. After leaving Coca-Cola, Shannon built an operational finance consulting practice focused on the construction industry, which ultimately led to her appointment as the CFO of a regional contractor. While serving as CFO, Shannon managed the acquisition of the business by private equity including the separation activities which involved carving out IT and HR functions from a shared services back-office function.  She led the organization from pre-close due diligence through building the 100 day plan, and was ultimately responsible for executing that plan on a post-close basis. Shannon has also served as the VP of Finance of a national contractor that had been carved out of a larger operation and required her to set up standalone IT, HR and treasury functions.
Her experience spans a range of industries including construction, consumer business, legal services, and manufacturing.  Shannon currently provides business advisory services to middle-market private companies, private equity, and corporate carve-outs with a focus on interim leadership, finance system implementation, process optimization, separation and post-acquisition integration.
