Based in Montreal, Dan’s professional career includes 20 years of experience in M&A, finance, accounting and project management. During his eight years in Deloitte’s Assurance & Advisory group, Dan served both large public and mid-size private companies focusing on high risk and special engagements including acquisitions, divestments, restatements, complex accounting issues and public offerings.

Dan has consulted on the successful completion of divestments and strategic initiatives across four continents with an aggregated value of completed transactions of over US$12 billion. He currently leverages his two decades of end-to-end transaction experience and accounting expertise to advise both public and private mid-market companies on their M&A processes, SPA structuring, due diligence, working capital optimization, financial modeling, transaction closing mechanics and dispute resolution.  Dan also has extensive experience in the preparation of the financial information required for both the financing and regulatory requirements of transactions, including the preparation of carve-out financial statements under both US GAAP and IFRS.

Dan is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada (ranked on the CICA’s Uniform Final Examination Honour Roll) and earned a Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University.
